Trump Threatens Iran As New Attacks Hit Gulf
A tanker was struck in the Strait of Hormuz and Kuwait said it countered another wave of Iranian drones as President Donald Trump warned of further U.S. strikes, deepening fears that the region’s fragile pause is collapsing.
President Trump threatened additional military action against Iran while Washington pressed for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, the narrow waterway through which a large share of the world’s oil supply moves. Hours later, Kuwait reported responding to Iranian drone attacks and a tanker was hit in the strait.
